Wow, glad you have been here for a while. I would have never looked that far back.

I may try this. I will replace some things though. I will use White Camellia instead of HSR and I only have sunflower oil. I will give it a try this weekend.

^^Yea I remembered the thread and I knew she used Aubrey so it was easy to search for it. It was originally posted here but for some reason it was moved to the Natural Living thread. I don't know why. It should have been left here. IMO

I LOVE it. I'm very heavy handed with my products and I go through them quick so I used it when I had barely any DC in my bathroom. IDK what everyone else uses as their base but mine is Tresemme + honey, aloe juice, peppermint oil and coconut/olive oil heated in the microwave until it looks like some warm nasty custard. Applying it cold seems to have absolutely no moisturising properties. Anyway, I plop it on like it's the last conditioner in the world, apply a plastic wrap and keep it on my head until I remember to take it off. The mint is my own addition to stimulate growth because I can't be arsed rubbing myself with castor oil every night lol. It's very moisturising, so much so that you might be too moisturised but it has never failed me after my henna-reconstructor combo on the weekends.

It's better with cheapie conditioners btw. The plainer, the better.

I did try this. It was ok. I already like my conditioner as it is so I don't think it enhanced it any.

For those with short hair SL and shorter, you can just do 1/2 cup of conditioner. I would also decrease the oil to probably 1 to 1.5 tbsp instead of 3. My hair is EL and I used 1/2 cup. I had enough to refrigerate to use for next time.

I didn't feel the difference but I it is one way to stretch your conditioner. I may try it again without the aloe vera just to see how it works and to use up some of this honey. This was definitely easier than mixing the honey with oil.
