What is the proper way to smooth your cuticles? Rinse with tepid water? A certain mix of oils? Applying heat? Rollersetting?
I'm trying to achieve a smooth, polished look.
All techniques and advice are welcomed!

rollersets with the products that give your hair the most slip should give you a very shiny, smooth look.

Acidifyers (ACV Rinses)
Serums & other cone products
Cool Water Rinses

I have rollerset with CD HHB and ISO Bouncy creme and it came out smooth and shiny.

I apply a tiny tiny bit of Redken's Smooth Down Butter Treat after I get out of the shower and a little bit of grape seed oil on my ends. My hair comes out smooth and shiny this way.
