smooth n shine extra hold gel

im thinking about buying this gel, and i never tried any of the smooth n shine gel before but i don't know if i should because of one of the ingredients which is Water Aqua , (Mineral Oil Paraffinum Liquidum) , Propylene Glycol , Oleth-5 , Glycerin , DEA-Oleth-3 Phosphate , Methylparaben , DMDM Hydantoin , Fragrance Parfum , FD&C Blue #1 CI 42090 , FD&C Yellow #5 CI 19140.
is mineral oil paraffinum liquidum bad for your hair just want to know if it is or not so i wont waste my money on it and the reason why i want to buy this kind is because it provides extra hold and thats what im looking for.

I don't use gel very often, but I had this gel as the one I would normally use. It worked okay for me. I have learned that its pretty hard to find products I like that work for my hair and avoiding certain ingredients like mineral oil and parabens. I just pray that God keeps me healthy despite all the hype about carcinogenic ingredients.

My absolute favorite conditioner by Motions is mainly mineral oil. Its up to you...the gel worked fine for me. You might also want to check out Smooth 'N Shine Gellation (comes in a clear jar with a black top, and the gel can be found in a pink or blue color). Now that's some goooood gel IMO. No flaking, and it didn't leave my hair dry and crispy either.

Hated it! It didn't work for me. I took it back the same day I bought it. It is soooo thin. But... I'm almost 4 months post relaxer. Lets Jam works a little better for me. It's thick.

All I have to say about that gel is, extra hold my a**. I also prefer the Jets Jam Super Hold.

worst gel ever soo thin with no hold to save anything..dont waste any money ..soo bad..i know this thread is older but i had to comment on this because i think that it is important for others not waste their money on it like i did..hahah j/k
