Do you ever just get plain lazy with your routine?
There have been occasions where I did not moisturize,
but just put the baggy on, or apply deep conditioner, but
don’t rinse out until really late the next day, or not shampooing
until a few days past schedule. I admit it does make me feel guilty,
and I get back on track in a day or so, but wondered…..

Do you ladies ever experience slippin on your routine?
Would you consider this as “taking your hair for granted”?

When I began seeing good length I got lazy and now I'm paying for it. Trust me, nip it in the butt now. You'll be thankful later.

lol we all do becasue we just get lazy. But i want to be more dedicated because when u push past the laziness and annoyance at ur routine is when usually ur hair is really about to show u how its really thriving

yes since the begining of august ive been so bad. all of my tools are still in storage ive flat ironed 3 times and i feel so guilty about it ive been getting a little bit of breakage and i know im totally to blame. BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!

I do get lazy sometimes, and then i am feeling guilty, not to often but it does happen.

Girl, are you a newbie? If so be careful because you don't know you hair as well yet and it's important to get off to a good start.

BACK on topic this summer I did quite a few wet and wavy/wash and go days and my ends got aa little drier than normal and that WOKE ME UP and I got right back on my regimen.

Naw, I'm not a "newbie", i just guess I'm a little more "dedicated" to my daughters hair than I am to mine. I've lurked for over a year using tips from this forum for my daughter her hair has thrived as a result (see Images).

I guess I sometimes "slip on my routine" because of all my other committments.

Its funny, but the older I get the more committed I seem to be to everything and everyone else but myself (another forum entirely).

Thanks to all of you ladies for sharing, I know I am not alone....and your
encouragment means the world...I plan to re-dedicate myself to myself!
