simple do-it-yourself natural styles for dummies?

Well, due to unforseen fianncial hardship, I will not be getitng my hair did next Friday...but on Saturday I am going home to the parents so I want them to see my natural hair in all it's glory. I don't know how to braid or anything.....my hair needs a trim and I will be looking a mess! I want my parents to see how much my natural hair has grown since they last seen it back in August. Any suggestions on what this dummy can do?

what type of style are u looking for? are u looking for a twisted or braided style? what about puffs, twistouts, braidouts, or a shake n go? those are easy to do and u can get away with not knowing how to braid/twist well for a outstyle

I've never done a shake in go or a twist out or nothing.......i wasn't looking for anything in particular...just something nice.

If you don't braid and are in need of a trim... Try a puff. My hair is short so i use one of those long combs to wrap around for my puff style. With some fantasia ic gel w/sparkle lites
