It is definately a keeper:grin: , I applied the silicone mix to my 14 1/2 week post relaxer hair, sat under the drier for 20 min medium heat and when I washed it out my hair felt like BUTTER, and still does, yes, and the NG was like it wasn't there, after air drying my NG did not, let me repeat, DID NOT shrivel up like the norm. It was like the silicone mix loosend the curl, normally when I air dry my NG draws up like I don't have none,LOL, yes that tight. Anyway, I applied the NTM (the smell is delicious) and rollerset my hair w/a light spray of my S-curl mix to dampen the hair and sat under the dryer for about 10-15 min and I loved it, I pin curled that night and it was even better the next day mor like a rod-set though from the pin curls. Now I'm addicted to rollersets, at least I no braids or twists don't have to be my best friend during major post relaxer time, thanks to Silicone mix (and the smell is beautiful too just like an oil you would wear on your body). How many of you have enjoyed your result and what was you results from using it?

BeautifulWideEyes...tell me more about the silicone mix. What exactly is it? Is it something you buy from the store or do you make it yourself? I am sitting under the dryer right now and I use the NTM and Rusk smoother to set my hair and I really love the results. Right now I am at 7 weeks post relaxer trying to go to 12. If I could find something to relax the wave pattern as it gets closer to time to relax, that would help...

Silicone mix is a dominican conditioner that can be purchased on line (I went to www.sickbay.biz ) or some BSS, but I have not found a BSS in my area yet.

Thanks for the heads up!

Okay, I aready love NTM Silk Touch. I have just ordered the silicone mix. I'm really hoping that this will help me with my new growth, it's been 7 weeks since my last relaxer. I need something to make the hardness go away.....go away...go away....

Thanks for the tips.

LaNecia (a banned member) got me to using the Silicon Mix....

I'm not thrilled with it by itself...but I really like it mixed with my NTM mask/DDC and following it with my NTM leave in. :look:

I'm gonna try mixing it with the Humecto next....

OMG...do NOT buy the shampoo....hated it! The 2 tubs are the same...just different sizes. I don't know about the leave-in...never used that one.

Thank you BeautifulWideEyes!

I now have another question. Do any of you ladies using this product rinse if off? Or are you leaving it in with your leave in conditioner?

According to the label, it says:
Hair treatment to restore the health, shine and the softness of dry, damaged and weak hair.

Directions: Apply a liberal amount on clean, towel dry hair, massage scalp and leave for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse Well.

Made in the Dominican Republic by Laboratorios Rivas
