in the length department. my hair as far as i know is not breaking off, the ends are healthy, and its not shedding yet i don't feel like i am making real progress.

i'm not sure if i should change of vitamins either. the last time i brought something "extra" it ended up going to "waste"

anyway freebie on me to day

. Remember that a watched pot never boils. In other words, don't drive yourself crazy trying to calculate growth. Instead, celebrate that you haven't had any major setbacks. It's very hard for us to notice if our hair is growing or not. It may LOOK like it's not growing to you, but I'm sure it is

. Especially since you're not having breakage or shedding issues. I think everything will be fine.

celebrate the fact that you have retained your current length!!! the fact that your hair is not shedding or breaking sounds good to me.

the growth will come, just you wait and see

Whenever I feel like this I just ask someone(usually my boyfriend)if he thinks my hair has been growing.I think sometimes we tend to be too hard on ourselves and just generally impatient to see results.Maybe you can try getting an outsider's perspective about how your hair is coming along growthwise.

It seemed like that for me too...For instance in the summer (May-Sept) I didnt straighten my hair at all in the summer and it seemed like it neve grew! But after I flat ironed my hair it was on!!!!!!

My hair grew about 2.5 in I guess I didnt noticed because of my shrinkage and my new growth.

I always say this to myself:

Healthy and vibrant is the key, length will eventually come for me, I have decided to just let my hair "be"

What I mean by that is as time goes on your hair will still grow regardless. Don't obsess over it and try to focus on other things. Meanwhile keep up you current hair regimen and keep your hair healthy. The longer length is going to come!! Trust me!

Everyone from time to time has that hump that they have to get over. You will, just continue listen to and care for your hair and it will respond.

And always remember...Don't Speak Defeat!

Ditto. Good luck, girl.

i can't tell you how many times i felt the way you did. i think the only thing that kept me from quitting was taking photos of my hair on a consistent basis (like once a month). i think you should try that. even if you never show them to anyone else, at least you'll know for yourself that what you're doing is working!!
