I wear both, I try to only wear center parts if I am wearing big or curly hair. If its straight, I do a slanted side part.

I guess it depends on the face. Some people would look better wearing a side part, while others would look better wearing a center part. I feel like the center part reveals a a lot of your face so you have to make sure your face (makeup and eyebrows) are on point. Whereas the side part covers half your face so you can get away with wearing little to no makeup.

I prefer my slanted side part when my hair is in a bun, twists, or loose. A center part only looks half-way decent on me when my hair is loose and voluminous.

In the photos posted, the second center part looks really cute. The first photo would look better if the part was closer to the center instead of by her ear.

i have an oval/round face and i wear a side part (either way). A middle part can be really pretty occasionally, but i have a HUGE forehead so i think the side part helps disguise it.
