I just replaced my hand held shower head with a Waterpik power spray with massage....I like the unit EXCEPT for the hose...it is plastic and it doesn't uncoil well at all...sooo I put the old hose ( a metal piece) with the new hand held thingy-spray ( I hope this makes sense) and I'm happier with this set up.... it's more powerful and it regulates the temperature better than my old one.

$20 at macys

Sounds like that worked out for you!!!

I just bought that one as well. I am having the same problem with the hose. I had to have another shower head b/c the other one was made of cheap plastic and was broken.

NOW... I am looking for a shower head that has a built-in the water filter. The filter is to remove the impurities from the water that my slow your hair growth, dull hair, and suppositly, add more moisture to skin and hair. Which is what we all want

I am in Chicago and the water here is very hard. So, I despartly need this wter filter.

that's interesting, how can you test if you have hard water? I love the hand held sh.head because I can really rinse out, detangle with a comb and cold rinse my hair really easily (better than the traditional fixed heads) I'm really happy I got it....I haven't however thought about a filter , i actually thought a built in filter is in this one but maybe its not as effective as what you are looking for.

Good luck and i'll keep my eyes open

I bought the aquasana shower filter which I bought from ebay I think for like 55 dollars and it normally cost around 65-80 dollars.

I purchased a Royale shower filter - handheld - from an online store cottonswow.com. They had the best deal. I believe it was abot $55 dollars for the chrome one.

I also have praises for their customer service. I needed order replacement filters a month ago. I placed my order and happened to go back to the website an hour or so later to see the filters were out of stock. I emailed to make sure that they weren't out of stock when I ordered. Turns out they were but the rep said she'd take some filters out of other shower heads to send to me since I needed them. Very nice of her!
