For those who use no-lye relaxers, would it be a good idea to chelate approximately a week after the relaxer?
From what I understand, no-lye relaxers leave calcium deposits in the hair that dull, dry and damage it.
But would using chelating shampoos solve this problem and help thwart the dryness and damage that no-lye relaxers can cause? Or is this too simplistic of a solution?
Also, what do you think is the most effective chelating shampoo?
