Should I trim my hair WET or DRY????

I need a trim and i am going to the salon and i need to know.....Is it best to trim dry hair or wet hair?

Salons usually trim while wet. So do I. I think you can see your true length when wet. That's just my opinion though...

I vote dry only because my cuticles lay unusually flat when wet. Once dry, split ends, especially those 2 or more inches from the ends, that normally wouldn't be visible show up much better
