Okay, I've thought about it...

THE MTG IS WORKING! LOL!

The very back of my head, the hair is almost bra-strap. I can't wait for the rest to catch up, but in time it will.

I've been using for about a month... my hair was just below my shoulders :)

I am VERY happy!

Good for you! I'm about to wrap up my 1st week using it, I made sure to take some "starting out" pics so that I can really see how well it does. I hope it works for me :D

Blossom,

How do you know if it's the MTG?? Could it be frequent washing, moisturizers, or conditioners???

What is your regimen??

Me too! not doubting you Blosssssssom... but just below shoulders to brastrap in a month? That's superfast. I would love to see the before and after shots.

Congratulations Blossssssom! After one week I'm a MTG believer! I told my family about the product, and laugh it off. But once I reveal my shoulder-length hair during the holidays (that's my first goal- BSL is my ultimate) they will become believers, too.

My regimen is practically non-existent.

My CURRENT regimen is wash every two weeks; oil with the MTG and jojoba oil mix twice a week and that's it.

Satin scarf and bonnet at night time.

You know what? I wish I would have taken before shots. I can't believe it myself. The very back of my hair near the nape (not the shorthairs) is almost bra-strap. I have to wait for the rest to catch up.

If I had known my hair would grow this fast from using MTG, I would have taken pics. I didn't know, though.

I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. I almost can't believe it myself, and the strangest thing is, the roots of my hair is not straight, so the very back right above the "kitchen" area might actually be bra-strap.

That's a very small part of the head, so I'm not jumping up and down, but it encourages me to keep right on MTG-ing. I suggest the rest of you follow the scent. Heehee... it's not that bad once you get used to it ;)

I started to, but then decided I didn't feel like being STONED!

I use the MTG twice a week. Once after I wash and airdry and then about 3-4 days later, I do it again.

The key for me is not to wash too often. Let your hair/scalp "marinate" :)

Don't forget to post the pics! I can't wait to see this. I say give it about a month, and you will see progress :)

Ok Blossom, how long is your back to go from just below shoulders to near BS in 1 month? Or better yet, how many definite inches did you accumulate? I've been using MTG and it IS making a difference for me too :D. I don't have phenomenal growth but my rate has definitely gotten a kick-start.

What does it smell like? I wanted to use it but I heard that it smelled bad.
I must be an oddball because I actually like the smell :sekret:...Well to give you an example.

My little neice was here last weekend and I braided her hair. She has a history of dry scalp. Well, I took out my MTG ( with a tid bit of rosemary oil added). She said, "aunty Nicky, that smells like mint ...and it smells like sausage". LOL LOL. I was sooo shocked because she was right on point.

If you dont like sausage then you might reconsider but if you can get used to the smell of fresh breakfast in the morning, noon or night then MTG is the way to go.

It smells like a strong tar grease to me, I remember when I was young tar grease was the thing that made the hair grow. I believe it's the amount of sulphur in it that gives the strong smell, cause sulphur 8 don't smell to good either.lol

You Must Be Kidding@!!!@@$@@

ok. i'm off to get some of this stuff now....

Seriously. How many inches do you think you've gotten from the MTG?

The pamphlet that came with my first order, claims "up to 3 inches" within a month. Remeber, this Shapley product is marketed for horses, so 3 inches added to a horse's tail or mane may not the same as gaining 3 inches on a human head.

I've been using it since last Wednesday, and can already see a difference in growth and fullness.

p.s. It smells like Sulphur 8, which some people can not tolerate. Also many people mix it with other products, to hide the smell.

Congratulations Blossssom! I believe you too. I had my hair cut really short (due to a set back) in May to ear length. I started using MTG around July. When I touched it up (not bone straight, but texturized) in August the sides had grown to between chin and neck length. The back is almost to my shoulders.

I don't think my results are strictly due to using MTG, but I'm sure it has helped a lot. I remember my new growth being extremely thick once I started using it.

I really don't know in inches...

All I can say is there has been a definite growth spurt.

Remember, though, your hair not only gets longer but FULLER!

If you don't want fuller hair, this might not be the product for you.

Thanks to you, too, Stormy :)

Hi Beautifulwideeyes: Could you explain what you mean by Tar grease? Do you mean Pine tar, or axle grease tar or coal tar and where it came from? There are different kinds that I am aware of. Was it a homemade one? Thank you. Bonjour

It's really not, huh, especially if you mix it with another oil.

I am very happy with the MTG :)

It not only makes the hair longer and fuller, it beautifies it. Black hair so desperately needs moisture and oil.

Thank God for water and oil. Who said you can't mix 'em? LOL! :)

I soooo agree, MTg has made my black hair thick, I just got a blowout this past weekend(pics are in fotki) and its cray the transformation. Thats my daily staple, soon I'll be whipping my pony's tail, I mean ponytail :D in no time
