Should I even out my hair before I weave?

I am getting my weave soon. Before getting it I want my hair evened out. Is this a bad idea or a good idea? I have braids in now. When I take the braids out I want my hair to be evened out and of course deep conditioned, etc.

Only if your ends are unhealthy. But if it's for aesthetic reasons only, because different sections of your hair grow at different rates, your hair will probably be uneven again when you take the weave out.
