Should I crank up the heat on my Maxi glide?

I usually use it on 4.

Setting 4 gets the hair straight, but not straight like my blowouts get it, and not as smooth and bouncy as them either. Am I using it too low? My hair is straight but its the straight look of maybe a week to a week and a half old blowout  You guys know what I mean, lol....

Good question. I use it on 4 and get similar results. I was wondering if I should turn it up to 5.

I think I will crank it up to 5 next time and see.....

I will.....I'm just a little scared, lol....

I'm a little scared for ya'. What are you doing before to make your hair a little "straighter" (is that a word?)? Do you rollerset first?

Be careful. Do a small test first, on a hidden part of your hair. I just did mine again and turned it down to three. Of course that means it's not that straight, but that Maxiglide is no joke with heat.
