I think someone mentioned doing something with vinegar but i could be waaaaay wrong. Try doing a search with "vinegar" and "wig" and see if something comes up

Lightly dust some powder over it and comb it through.
I did that with an instant weave I had that was too shiny. Worked perfectly. What I did was squeezed the container so a puff of powder dust only went on it that way I wouldn't risk putting too much on it and have white sections.
