Will someone please tell me how to use these soaps. Do I prepoo with the oils first. Will the soaps soften my ng. What will my results be? I decided to wait until after I get my relaxer before I begin with the powders, but was thinking I would go on and try the soap.

Is the aritha in a bar? Reason I ask, it's very drying without oils, esp. powder. You have to mix it with other ayurvedic herbs. You can prepoo with oils if you like, then wet hair and massage the bar into your scalp and scrub it clean. That's it. I don't think it will soften new growth or anything, it's just a cleaner. You could use either before or after relaxing (not talking about the neutralizing step at all lest I mislead).

Yes, it's a bar. I will prepoo with the oils first. I only plan to use it during my regular wash.
