it does make your hair feel really silky and nice. however, its not the most moisturizing. it's cool for the summer, but i don't think i would try it in the winter time. also, it kinda makes my hair a little less sleek everytime i use it i think its because of the glycerin though. it gives my hair that almost too thick look. it smells really nice though and does give the hair that sometimes elusive silky texture. if i were natural i wouldn't purchase it. it definitely is not heavy enough.
The jojoba hair milk works really well for my 4b natural hair. It leaves it with a soft fluffy texture and doesn't have a greasy or sticky residue. Hope this helps a little.
I reviewed it in one of the shescentit threads a while back. I like it a lot. I can use it without fear of getting white flaky build up. It leaves my relaxed hair VERY soft. What I don't like is the packaging. It comes in a tiny little pump container that becomes difficult (for me at least) to use effectively when my hands are wet. I am heavy handed and having to pump 50-11 times to get some product in my hands was maddening! But I will be purchasing again.
I got it last month because my ends have been getting really dry and I love it. I use it all the time, I use it on damp hair before I rollerset or sometimes at night. The only problem for me is it's not as moisturizing as I would like so it needs to be combined with something else. It's good I would recomend it, and the smell is amazing. It smells like pina colada to me.
I am HOOOOOOKEDDD on her Gillian Butter. I'm thinking the jojoba milk would be similar to KBB hair milks (and I prefer KBB nectar to the milk-- I sold all of my milks). I am loading up on more Gillian Butter in the fall once the weather turns cool (since the site says it may melt in warmer months). I want mine in the originally intended form.. whipped not melted. The Gillian Butter leaves my hair soft and smelling awesome for hours. I use it in combination with leave ins and Hairveda whipped gelly. Not too heavy for summer and really doesn't make hair greasy and feels to rinse easily with a cowash.. hair isn't coated or waxy but very moisturized and soft.
