Any info on this? My girlfriend went to the hairdresser and she said she had alot of "shedding". She asked me about it b/c she thinks I know everything about hair from being up on this board 
but I was stumped! I haven't heard about this - I mean I leave behind a few strands sometimes but I have very thick hair and I got the impression it was something different. I mean I think we all "shed" to some extent so why would the hairdresser comment on it?
