Shed-fest 2004

I know there are a lot of posts on shedding, but I need someone to remind me how often seasonal shedding occurs...is it every season (spring, summer, fall, winter) or is it twice a year (warm season - spring, cold season - fall)?

I know shedding (hair strand has white bulb on end) is normal...I just need a confidence boost right now to justify all these foot long hairs everywhere

Thank you for the article Erica, very good reference! ... I had pretty bad shedding last fall, and I hope this is the last time it happens until NEXT fall...
