I have 2lbs of raw sheabutter to go thru and its gonna take me a looong time to get thru it. I'm trying to find as many uses for it that I can. Do you think I can put it on my hair and then my DPR-11 for my deep condition?

this is just my experience but shea butter tended to 'cake' up on my scalp when i was heavy handed with it and was a little hard to wash out when used in larger doses. I love shea butter but i really only used it to seal in moisture when my hair is wet. So basically i think it can be used as a butter or put into conditioners but still in small doses which means it would still take forever to go through those 2lbs. You can always send me some to get it off your hands

Your braids are beautiful by the way.

Thanks! So I guess when I put it in my hair just be light handed. Did you ever do it w/ a deep condition?

I used to put mine on my ends when I deep conditioned. I really need to get back to it. I think my ends really appreciated the concentrated moisture. :perplexed

I use it on my skin and it makes it glow, even and oh so soft, I've abandoned lotion! That may help u use it up.

I like to mix mine at a 1:1 ratio with coconut oil, (usually 16 oz of both) and then add a tbsp or two of grapeseed oil.

I use it instead of lotion on my body and also when I'm cornrowing my hair.

I tell ya'll one thing: that stuff makes my skin feel as soft as my newborn baby's and I'm not exaggerating!
