Yeah I shouldn't have bought it considering it was a whole $10 and I bought the Hair Milk too so that ended up bringing my total including tax to $21.40. But when You think about it, that's how much I spend on Keracare Shampoo and Conditioner from JCPenney's.

Anyway I wanted to try it because my friend bought some, but she's natural. She LOVED IT so I was wondering hmmm if it worked on her TWA maybe it will be great on my relaxed strands too.

I LOVED IT. I did a pre poo with it. Before I washed it I sectioned my hair off and applied the Masque like it was a relaxer and sat under the dryer for 15 minutes. When i washed it out my hair was oober soft. Then I used my Keracare Hydrating Poo and my hair still felt amazing. THEN I put the Masque back on my hair as a DC (shrugs just wanted to try something out). I sat back under the dryer for 10 minutes. My hair felt like butter when I rinsed it out. What I didn't like about it though...is that it kinda smells like cake batter that's not sweet or something. But it doesn't have a repulsive smell to it. It just smells like weird shea butter.

What I liked about it is that I didn't add ANY oils or anything to it. And considering the price, I don't think I should have to add anything to it. After washing the conditioner out, I did I rollerset that was very frizz-free and bouncy.

I used to Hair Milk to sleek my hair in a bun before I washed it. It made my hair very moisturized. Now I'm using the hair milk on my ends. I'll have to get back to you on that, but so far so good!

Yeah I felt bad about buying it considering I paid $20 for some Keracare like 2 weeks ago....but I now I'm thinking maybe I should just go on a cowashing challenge to use the stuff up quicker lol

Thanks for the review. I have been looking for the new shea moisture line at my local target and they never have any in stock.

I have the curl enhancing smoothie and I love it. I've been thinking of trying the treatment masque after I finish the smoothie. Thanks for the review.

That stuff glides through my thick ,kinky 11 months post 4a/4b transitioning hair like butter! Thanks for reminding me. I need to pick up more!!

SK I went to Target yesterday and I got the Shea Moisture Organic Coconut Hibiscus whatever. Cant remember the exact name but it made my DDs hair sooooo soft! Her hair still has the scent of the product too. I like it! Plus it was $10 versus $20. :look: I'll try the mask once my Elasta QP DPR-11 runs out.

I just picked up the Conditioning Curl & Style Milk and Moisture Mist from Shea Moisture from Target. I got it for my two curly head darlings. They're always wanting to wear their hair curly but I could never find anything that would keep it moist & manageable. I just don't have that kind of time to do 2 heads of long curly hair and my own every day.
I didn't see that one at Target...I will keep on the look out for it.

I saw this when I was in the BSS and decided to pick up the Elasta QP since Shea Moisture seemed so SMALL for the price... But it'll be back on the "to try" list.

I have learned that it is best to apply the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Mask to sopping wet hair, then leave in for at least 10 minutes before attempting to detangle, then you can go back to any spots you missed because of tangling. And I think it works best with heat.

I have relaxed hair but I really like the Anti-Breakage masque. i tried it for the first time last week. i pre-poo applying to dry hair and covered with a plastic cap. Then washed with Laila Ali Hydrating shampoo (I usually use Keracare)/ Deep conditoned with Nutress Moisture/protein pack. Follwed Laile Hydrating conditioner for about 5 minutes. My hair really felt great! I also love Shea Moisture Hair tonic oil it's great and the Hair milk is amazing.

how do you guys use the hair milk? just to moisturize? have any of yall used it for braidouts/twistouts?

That's so interesting. My hair HATES the Shea Moisture Treatment Masque. I'm trying to use the whole jar and I've tried it as a pre poo, on damp hair under a cap, without a cap, for various times, with and without heat, mixed with oils... My hair is just not having it. I love the way it smells. I shave with it now. lol. Guess I'll be sticking with my Roux PC, Aubrey Organics and oils.

As much as I wanted to love it, the results weren't amazing. It was just ok for me. I want to use it all up and go back to ORS Replenish Paks and SheScentIt's Avocado Conditioner.
