So i just ordered a whole bunch of shea butter products, the shampoo, the conditioner, the pomade, and for my face. How good are these products? It doesnt matter about the response, because for what I paid, ima use em.

I only buy the pure shea butter, what I did was mix it with Vitamin E Oil in one tube for everything body, face and hair. I also mixed some in some cheap conditioner and use that on my clean up days. I think the shea/vitamin E mixture is great. It really keeps me moisturized. Where did you order the products from? btw my face is starting to look great using that mix.

The response doesn't matter? lol well fine i'm not answerin then!

:)

I buy the pure shea butter and mix it with coconut oil, whip it up into a nice moisturizer. I honestly use it mostly on my body now because It's a little too heavy for my hair... I'll try again next time with more oil and less shea and see if I can get a mixture with a balance that's good for my hair.

I've never used commercial shea butter products. What brands did you buy? What are the ingredients looking like? Let us know how they work for you once you try em too!

I do the same as the ladies above. Just buy pure shea butter (I like the beige/whitish 100% unrefined) and mix with coconut oil, olive oil, and other ingredients. It works best for me this way ... very moisturizing.

i buy my own shea and make my own hair & body butter products... so i can't really speak for products with shea in them.... as mentioned above it seems like the other ladies do as well, so obviously shea butter is a good thing and very effective... but you should also consider the other ingredients... oh... what brand did you buy?

I love Shea butter for my skin but on my hair, it leaves it dull, lifeless and not moisturized at all. If a hair product contains shea butter(and its not the top ingredient), it's not a big deal because its mixed in with a bunch of other ingredients, but pure shea butter on my hair is a no no.

Shea butter is really working well for my hair. I recently started using it on my ends and I am getting less knots. I also use it to seal. I like it for twists, twist outs and braid outs too. It mixes pretty well with olive oil. I have started using it on my skin as a moisturizer.
