Hello Ladies
I recently brought some shea butter and that stuff is thick!!! I can even scoop it out the jar like i want to it's not "smooth" like a butter would be. Is there anyway I can make it softer so i can use it on my hair?
Thanks In Advance

basically the best way to use it on your hair is to melt a little at a time, maybe 1 teaspoon or less. you could zap it in the microwave. You would do the same if you use it as an hot oil treatment as well. Good luck and i know your hair will love it because it is good stuff

You could even try stiring it a little bit inbetween microwave seconds.

I melt mine with indirect heat and add coconut oil and whatever essential oils I want and Its wonderful in my hair. HTH

It works pretty well to add oils. It is also great to just take some and rub it in your hands to melt it before applying to your hair. You can also mix with aloe vera gel for a smooth, non-greasy butter.
