She won\'t trim my hair...?

I got another sew-in a few weeks back and wanted to get my hair trimmed before she put it in. Mind you, I haven't had a relaxer since August as I am attempting transition. She said she couldn't trim it because it wouldn't come out even/right because the hair is "bunched up" that I would need a relaxer first. I got the sew-in done, but now what am I supposed to do? Those that are transitioning/have transitioned, how did you trim your hair?

why didnt she straighten the new gowth and trim...it gives you the same straigthened results as a relaxer only temporary....i always get that done cuz i only get a relaxer 2-3x a year so in order to trim evenly i get the new growth straightened

That's a good idea, I own a pressing comb...

I did mention that idea to her afterwards but didn't really get a response

maybe she is trying --consciously or subconsciously--to make transitioning difficult so that you keep getting your hair relaxed.
