I love my mom with all my heart but that woman knows how to push my buttons!

Earlier today she was "teasing" me about my website (lhcf).....

Mom: I dont need some website to tell me how to grow my hair..
Me: what are you talkking about?

Mom: Longhaircare..or whataver its called... and put chicken grease in my hair...

Me: No one said you had to!

Mom: Haha, you get so wandup whenever i talk about that website!

Me: *rumbles* whataver.....

Hahha...I was so mad, but part of me want to prove to her that you can get fast growth... so shes now gonna be part of my motivation in reaching my goals ina timely matter!

Your mom must have gone to the same button pushing school as mine. Although she has taken my hair advice and appreciates it... she just knows how to push some other buttons very well.

LOL@ Pushing button school! She sounds like my mama. Not so much about me being on the site but about me covering up my hair all the time. She's always asking why I don't wear my own hair. I don't pay her no mind. I've told her time and time again there's a means to an end. And quite frankly I like switching it up so I'll probably always be a weavie even when my hair gets long. I'm not gonna tear my hair up trying different cuts, styles, and colors when I can acheive the same thing with weave. Once she sees your progress and all that beautiful hair she won't have anything else to say. Keep doing what you're doing hun.

She is not worse than my step-mother.

She is always trying to give me advice about my hair. Her hair is above her ears and not because she wants it to be. She doesn't get it cut or trimmed, so I know its falling out and breaking on its own. She puts relaxer over entire head, greases scalp everyday, uses smoky hot curlers everyday and a bunch of other no-no's

She was scratching her scalp madly the other day, I say, "When was the last time you washed it". She said "I only wash my hair every two weeks". I told her I washed mine twice a week.

She said "Girl whats the matter with you, you aint white"

Needless to say my hair is past SL and I always see her staring at it.
