That's what the follicleanse website healthyhairplus instructs for the first 3 weeks...
QUESTIONS
1. Ever used it?
2. Do you think shampooing so frequently would be too harsh on my 3c/4a medium hair?
3. Would AOhsr with evoo and Shea butter be enough for a dc every time?
EXTRA
It does have sulfate but all of the other ingredients look yummy like fenugreek, burdock, wheat germ etc
I'm using it because people with sd and psoriasis which is worse have had success.

TIA

Probably like a week or so ago I was shampooing every other day. My hair felt great! Very soft :D I was just trying it out to see how my hair would like it and cowashed on the days in between. This week was a bit cooler though, so I only shampooed twice. I'm planning on sticking to shampooing twice (or 3 times) a week as I've realized more frequent washing is better for me and I'll probably shampoo every other dayish for the super hot summer months (walking around on campus, sweating like an animal is a PAIN and I loved how fresh shampooing made my scalp feel). Give it a try! You just might like it :)

I have fine hair, however, when I was relaxed I used to shampoo the gel out of my hair every day then re-gel it and put it into a phoney pony while wet. I think the shampooing along with the protective style (I didn't know it was that at the time I just didn't feel like relaxing my hair for a few months. another thing I didn't know had a name ) made my hair grow the longest it had ever been with a relaxer.
Now that I'm natural. I wash once or twice a week and it works great for me. I LOVE washing my hair (something about the bubbles, I think lol) and it does well for me. Of course, I always following up with a condition. My mid-week wash is just a regular shampoo and condition. My Sunday wash is followed with a deep condition. It also consists of a pre-poo of coconut oil and any protein that I need. That's my "real" hair day.

I hope that helps.
