I have type 4a/b hair. Currently I am using TCB creme shampoo but I think it's too harsh. Does anyone have any suggestions of another shampoo I can use? Yes I know I ask alot of questions. But that's just me

I 'm currently using African Royale Soft As Me. You only need a drop and it leaves my hair super soft.

I like the Keracare Hydrating and Detangling Shampoo also. The Elucence is my second favorite for softness.

Elucence, Keracare hydrating and detangling shampoo and cream of nature for dry hair are my top 3 favorite shampoos.

is creme of nature for normal hair also good for dry hair? because they don't sell that one for dry hair here. Are the ingredients similar or are is their a lot of difference?

I really do not like moisturizing shampoos i leave that up to the conditioner as I have realized that moisturing shampoos leave my hair limp especially if I use a moisturizing conditioner after .basically I use any thing that contains sles that is sodium lareth sulfate aor tea laurly sulfate and tea laureth sulfate as these are not harsh and does not strip my hair, like ammonium lauryl sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate (sls). these are too harsh as their ph are too high for your hair make sure that the ph is around 5.5 in your shampoo, and if it lathers a lot it is not acidic and is more alkaline which is harsh for your hair.

CON Moisturizing formula is a really good shampoo that does not dry out your hair. give it a try.

i'd also try the Creme of Nature shampoo. Its doen wonders for me. And its the first shampoo I've used that didn;t dry out my hair.

My favorites are

Cream Of Nature Moisturizing Formula
Elucence Moisture Benefits
Elasta Bodiphying

The last 2 are almost identical as they are made by the same company. But the latter is the cheaper of the 2.

To the person who asked about the Creme of Nature, Regular formula, YES, it is very moisturizing. I cannot use the stuff in the green bottle....too much, too much for my hair. The stuff in the red bottle is like a shampoo with normal conditioning properties; the stuff in the green bottle is ULTRA moisturizing.

Shampoo suggestions other than Creme of Nature and Aubrey Organics: Clairol Renewal 5x for dry hair and Herbal Essences Intensive Blends for Dry hair... Hair is moisturized and soft, but no slick feeling as with the CON.

Hi guys

HAs anyone tried the infusium 23 shampoo& conditioner? I would apreciate any reviews.

Thanks a lot

Angelica2u,
I have the shampooo (dry hair). I used it a couple of times prior to color-treating my hair and becoming a member of LHCF.
The shampoo made my hair feel stripped! I didn't like this feeling. I always deep condition my hair, but after using this shampoo~I HAD TOO!

I stopped using it because of the after affects and because of the harsh ingredient SLS! After learning about all the harsh ingredients found in shampoos etc... I had to upgrade my hair product choices ASAP!

I havern't used the conditioner(s), but I use the Infusium 23 Leave-In conditioner (Moisturizing) after ever wash!

I like the White Camellia and Jasmine Conditiong shampoo for dry hair too...especially when I don't feel up to doing a preshampoo treatment here's why:

Ingredients:

Glycerine
Liquid Protein
Coconut Oil
Almond Oil
Camellia Oil
A special blend of lavender, jasmine, clove, rose and cedar oils
Vitiamin F
Citrus seed extract with Vitamins A,C, and E as a preservative
Rosa Mosqueta
Rose hip seed oil
Vitamin E
Macadamia Nut oil
Geranium Oil
Aloe Vera Oil

FYI: Vitaminshoppe (sp?) has a 20% off sale on Aubrey Organics products in their July catalog.

I used TCB Moisturizing Conditioner last night to wash my hair and my hair was sooo dry, I mean dry (did I say dry?) that it took a while for it to get moisturized. What in the world is in that stuff? Needless to say I threw it in the garbage. Going to Sally's in the morning and restocking.

I'm presently liking Cream of Nature and Aubrey Organics Island Naturals Island Butter Shampoo.

*Please note that I only like Natural Island Shampoo due to its conditioning mate Natural Island Island Spice Cream Rinse which is a really nice conditioner. My number 1 Aubrey Organic Shampoo, as a solo, would be White Camamillia and Jasmine conditioning shampoo for dry hair.

Sithembile,

When I use CON, I use the white & green bottle (dry, brittle, & color-treated hair) shampoo.
This one is best for my hair because it's color-treated and has a tendency to get dry.
