I am a shampoo girl.....but what I do is:

For the first lather, I use shampoo (Any Shea Moisture poo...they all feel the same to me)

For the second lather, I use a cleansing cowash
(Eden bodyworks cleansing cowash)

It results in clean scalp and hair but without feeling like I actually washed twice with shampoo.

This is a great method: didn't think about doing this.

I currently have BSL length hair. I've been shampooing consistently since I've gone natural. I clarify every 3 weeks and shampoo with sulfate free products.

When I was relaxed I had waist length hair and primarily used shampoo bars (lush and chagrin Valley ) and cowashed with vo5

I use all of them. I cowash once during the week and on the weekend. And I shampoo/shampoo bar my scalp biweekly on the weekend.

Shampoo bars are great at first, but for me they cause damage over time and make my hair dry. Even with wn acv rinse my hair started rebelling. Ive used LUSH, bobeam, shikakai shampoo bar, and Chagrin valley.

Cowashing with Vo5 was the business when I was relaxed. However, now that I'm natural I only wash once a week (if that). So I cannot rely on cowashing to adequately cleanse.

Eta: I forgot I commented already! Smh
