As many of you old timers know, I have shampoo issues. I usually find one I love and stick with it, because shampoo's so frequently don't agree with my scalp. So I'm warning all of you now, to be on the look out for MANY shampoo reviews forthcoming in the next few weeks.
So I know I like Nature's Gate shampoos - one of my favorites is the Keratin and Panthenol "flavor". I ran out of that though and went to the natural food market to pick up another. So I saw a Biotin version and I really do think I like it. Not more than the panthenol one - I think that's still my fav. but it has mint in it, so it tingles, which I like in a shampoo (so1913 - that was for you
) and it leaves the hair clean, no stripping, and no build up. And so far no itchy scratchy scalp. No flakes either....so I'm happy with that one.
I also tried a Fantasia shampoo - the moisturizing Aloe formula. I hated it - but I should have known I would. I've concluded as well that I strongly dislike "moisturizing shampoos". I just don't think they do the job they're meant to do, and they certainly don't agree with my scalp. This one was no different. My scalp was itchy in minutes and my hair never really felt clean at any point in the washing process.
I'll stick to their "Pure Tea" formula, if anything at all.
I may (instead of wasting my money over and over and over again) just find a few of the Nature's Gate Shampoos that I like and use those exclusively. They seem to be the only brand since Lanza that give me consistently good results - CLEAN hair.
