Got my weave done today. Corn rowed in the front with deep wave human hair weaved in for the remainder. Cute, but I'm still getting use to it. BTW, somebody should have put "SPENSIVE!!" in the header of previous posts about weaves

So, I'm planning on adding some rosemary to my SCurl and getting my daughter to spray the hair beneath the tracks once a week. My hair is just getting healthy again and I really want to minimize shedding, breakage and thinning. Bring on the wisdom ladies! I need it!

i think ideas about sew in weaves were available in another thread about braids or weaves (something like that)

Well I use Creme of Nature shampoo for dry, brittle hair. It's good for the weave and your own hair. It keeps the weave from getting frizzy. I focus on massaging the scalp. As the shampoo rinses out, it will clean the rest of the hair.

I use a ApHogee 2 minute Keratin Reconstructor for my own purposes.

I use Motions Moisture + for deep conditioner.

I've recently started using oils so I spray them on my braided hair underneath. For drying I would usually sit under a hooded dryer and it takes some time. I end up getting tired of sitting under there so then I use a blow dryer to get some spots on the braided hair.

BUT I must say that Saturday I washed my hair then used my jojoba, coconut, olive, and peppermint oil spray (for the first time) and my hair was thoroughly dried on the coolest setting (it's like a combination of cool/low heat from the blow dryer) I've ever used. I was amazed!

I don't apply anything directly to the weave to get shine or anything. The oil I use on my braids/scalp is enough. Oh yeah, I spray my braids/scalp often...first with water, then with the oil. I'm still trying to figure out how often though...HTH~!
