What are the most important things you have learned about sew ins(in order to retain growth, make your sew in last, etc):grin::grin::grin:?

I learned to give your hair a rest for at least 2 weeks between installs. And I've always remembered to moisturize my hair under the install. I'm currently growing out my short cut my using weaves as a PS and its been working out really well for me:yep:

Don't waste all your hard work and jeopardize retention with a rushed take down. Sit down, get a seam stripper, and be prepared to go slowly. Work through and knots, tangles, etc. slowly. Take a break if needed. Moisten your finger tips with oil as your going through the cornrows.
