Has anyone used these, or anything similar. I'm thinking about ordering these instead of relaxing. http://www.aaabraids.com/new_page_3.htm

These pics show the process, and it's only supposed to take 2 hours.

I wore these my freshman year of college, and I loved them! I just left out a small portion at the top and braided in individuals to hide the weave. All in all it took like 3 hours and my roommate did it for free! The downside was that I would have to get it redone every few weeks vs leaving it in for a month. That's probably because I didn't go to a professional. Another problem at least where I live is that stylist try to charge you the same as if you were getting individuals..when it takes less than half the time. HMM..now you got me thinking? I might try these again soon lol.

Only a few weeks? The website said you can wear them 3 months, but I was planning on redoing them every 4-6 weeks. I think they would last longer if I got them done professionally, but I doubt a regular salon would let me bring this in. And a braid salon definitely won't want their other customers seeing them sewing in microbraids.

I've seen these done at the braid salon but they didn't braid just the front. They did the sides and back too so they could be worn in a ponytail or up. And you're right, they do charge the same price.
