We are hear for you! I too am transitioning to natural and I'm already loving the freedom. (I went swimming all last summer :) ) BTW, I haven't seen one natural woman that I thought her hair looked bad on her. I've seen a couple of hair-do's that I didn't care for but not the natural texture.

I read on Motown Girls site to not tell others about going natural...

I guess maybe to some but...just be careful because they can discourage you..

I told my friend that I was transitioning to go natural after she told me it was time for a relaxer...she said "D...dont do that to yourself"...

she thinks LHCF is a cult

but yeah...you know whats right for you...dont let others tell you its not.

Congratulations, Chemetria. I BC'd myself two months ago.

Once you've figured out how to keep your hair moisturized, it's not as difficult. Don't allow people to discourage you. Every woman can wear her hair natural, if she chooses. That seems so obvious, but to some...oh, well.

There's so much good information on this site for transitioners and stretchers...you know you're in good hands.

Good luck. You really are setting yourself free. Wait and see how good you feel when you have a full head of thick, healthy hair. It's like night and day.

I totally AGREE everyone can go NATURAL the reason i chose not to becuse like everyone else ####LOOKIN A FOR A EASY WAY OUT##### bottom line point blank.
