Serum versus Hair Polisher?

i always thought they were the same. that a serum polishes the hair, dunno made sense to me.

I'm thinking maybe the thickness of it? I see some "hair polishers" in a spray bottle. Serums would probably be too thick to be sprayed...but then again the Loreal Vive serum is pretty thin.

That probably didn't help any...

You may be on to something JenJen. Maybe it has to do with thickness and consistency. I think they pretty much do the same thing.

I have no idea what the difference is...only that I stopped using my IC polisher because of all the cones....

Polishers give you sheen and Serums (to me) seal in moisture and can be used as a humidity blocker.

Just tried Pantene's Smooth Serum today and I don't think my hair liked it. Maybe I didn't use it right.
