I was thinking of dying my hair, jet black. Is it safe? What are some good brands?

I die my hair "Oriental Black" by Bigen..it's perm but it doesn't have peroxide or amonia(sp?)..it works good for me...you can see the color in my avatar.

Rage and React or Adore are very good. I use Rage and React at the moment, it fills in cracks in your hair and is very gentle
