Self-relaxing after clarifying works!

I followed the tips in the thread that spoke about how clarifying before a relaxer helps the relaxer to "take" better. I was just about to relax my hair the day I found that thread, but read all of the posts and decided to Clarify w/Suave shampoo and ACV rinse. I didn't apply any oil to my scalp and just lightly based it right before I relaxed. My hair turned out better than it has ever had from any of my previous attempts at self-relaxing. Thanks LHCF ladies. Once again, you've come through for me!
PS I used no lye ORS. This is the same one I've used the previous 2 times, but this time my hair really got straight.

I'm not AC but I believe she meant the wash day prior to touch up day. At least that's what I do, per Sistaslick's excellent articles :) Leaving the hair with minimal product on it 3-5 days prior to a retouch gives straighter results.
