I'm pretty sure none of you have a shampoo bowl in your house(although with y'all you never know). How do you rinse out without getting the chemical on your face or body?
Lately I've been rinsing my relaxer in the shower. I lean back inorder to minimize the amount of chemical that comes in contact with my body. I have not had any issues with this method thus far.
I don't relax now - but - I had a sister who initally had the back breaking out because she was rinsing the perm out of her hair under the bathtub faucet.
She then switched to something like a Shower Massage and her hair improved significantly. It seemed to work pretty well ...
I just installed one of those shower heads with the detachable heads. I cant wait to be able to wash my hair and actually not have to jump in and out of the shower to condition!
I've done it by leaning over the shower and I've used a detachable shower head. I just recently bought one of those rinsers from Sally's that I can attach to my faucet in the kitchen since my kitchen sink does not have one built in.
While I permed, it was the kitchen for me. I didn't want to do it in the shower, and rish getting perm on my body. Besides, maybe the lye could've cleaned out the drains. Two pluses in one.
I tilt my head a little back in the shower but I also protect my face and body with some oil like olive oil. The last time I put castor oil on my face and body and it worked very well, plus my face got a beauty treatment! I just have to be careful not to slip!
reguarding underprocessed hair do you think that if you permed your hair half one day and then half the next day you can avoid underprocessed hair because you will have more time to work on the 1half of your hair im thinking about trying it
