HELP! Who was the LHCF'er who came up with the sectioned showercap retouch mehtod? Could someone post her name or a link to the thread? I cannot find it and I want to review it before my touch up next week.

Thanks!

Londondiva, has an album with this method. It has pictures and alot of details. I will be trying this method in a week.

Southerngirl also has some detail steps. I will be using both of these methods.

YAYYY!!!! Thank you ladies! Thanks LondonDiva and SouthernGirl for your methods! :p

I have always relaxed like this. Otherwise I underprocess. It really gives you so much more time to do it right.

How long did it take you to do this process?

Probably about 2 hours from start to finish. It was my first time, so I needed to make sure I did it right. I did it in 3 sections. I based, applied, let stay on fro 16 minutes, then rinsed, pood, and conditioned. I'm sure next time will go quicker.

It was worth the time though. I had the peace of mind knowing that I could apply and smooth withouth over/under processing. Plus, I could see exactly what I was doing.

Looks like I'll be trying to self relax again soon. Maybe the next time in early February.

I'm also going to try this method for the first time in a few weeks. Hopefully it will prevent breakage from some areas being overprocessed.

The LHCF calvary save the day again! I'll be relaxing in about 10 days so this saves me from having to do a search. I can't believe that I can get an answer before asking a question:grin:
