I want to try this product but I need some reviews prior to be ordering this stuff. Here are my questions> 1. It is expensive? 2. Does it smell good? 3. Does it make your scalp itch? 4. Does it improve your scalp or aid hair retention? 4. Do you highly recommend this product?

It's about $12.00.

It smells smokey-ashy like (but it doesn't linger)

It is a heavier weight oil

In my opinion, it does help with Scalp & Retention

Yes, I would highly recommend for Fall/Winter. Works great as Sealer.

At the local BSS (beauty supply store) it is $6.99 for 4oz. Expensive, but not that bad. The smell is nutty, I like it-- it has grown on me. I like it for my scalp massages and for sealing the hair near my scalp & ends. I makes me feel good about my scalp; and I look forward to seeing better retention. I would recommend castor oil period; JBCO is bonus!
