Sedu or Chi?

Im intersted in getting a good, quality flat iron for the times that I do flat iron my hair. Im willing to pay for something that wont ruin my hair that im working so hard for. Ive been looking at Chis and Sedus. which one do you think is the better flat iron? If theres another brand that you know of that please feel free to bring it to my attention! Thanks :)

I have the Sedu 1 1/2". I like it because the plates are smooth and it gets the job done well. Plus the sedu had heat controls. My friend has a chi and she came over and was all over my Sedu. She wants it now. I don't flat iron my hair often but when I feel the need I'm good to go.

Out of those two, definitely the Sedu. I have the Sedu Revolution (along with a Hana) and I love it. I had a Chi for about 2 months until I realized it was scorching my hair because there wasn't a temp control :nono:

Either Sedu is good (the original or the Revolution), but I got the Revolution cuz I like to make spiral curls in my hair occasionally when flat ironing.
