I know a thread like this was probably posted some time before, but I just like to get more updated replies. I plan on revisiting my beloved Penetraitt. and since I havent used it in about 6 months, I just wanted some input from you ladies about the product. If you've used it before or still using, do you feel that it does a good job? Or if anyone had any cons about it, please do tell. I remember it making my hair feel healthier, but products do change. Also, how do you feel it compares to Ahphogee, Joico K-pak nexxus emergence or any other protein treatment? TIA for any replies.

Penetraitt is ok. I prefer Emergencee. I just used Penetraitt for the first time last week, so maybe it gets better with use. It left my hair drier and not as supple as my hair is after using Emergencee (I did follow with moisture cond.). I wanted to chuck it, but I am moving where such products are not available, so I am keeping it. I will give it another try one of these days. Emergencee is my staple, and I won't stray from it unless I can't get my hands on it (I am stockpiling it!).

I use Penetraitt and prefer it over Emergencee. When I used Emergencee my hair was breaking in the shower when I rinsed it out, so I am sticking with Penetraitt, I have no problems with breakage when using it.

I also use the 2-N-1 and the detangler with great results.

Penetraitt was okay, but I prefer Ion's reconstructor to it. It's cheaper and seems to be a little stronger.

I don't like sebastian penetraitt at all, I prefer Affirm 5 n 1 or Nexxus Keraphix. Aphogee is to strong for me. Never tried Emergencee, but I might invest in it. I want to get a sample before I buy it to see how it works
