I was looking to replenish my supply of Sebastian's Colourshine Cellophane, and it looks like they raised the price TEN bucks. It's now 35 dollars on Amazon!!! O_o ...

I certainly can't afford it, but Jazzings doesn't last long enough for me, AND it doesn't add the shine that I CRAVE.

Are there any OTHER cellophanes out there that do the job for less?

John Frieda glazes for $10 at the drugstore. I love the clear one, it works really well.

I"ve never tried Sebastians.

What color are you using...when they discontinued my color in colorshines I went to Colorshowers which was great...I bought mine from RoundBrushHair.com - they have since replaced it with another brand called Stoken Gold...I have not tried it yet but I believe Eisani has and she gave it a good review.

The Dominican colors seemed to last longer than the colorshines and the color is thicker so it is not runny...You get a large bottle for around 19.99

Sorry so wordy...HTH

I just saw my name :giggle: I haven't used Stoken Gold. The Colorshowers was replaced on RBH by Original Color's Cellophane. It didn't take very well on my hair, but I really attribute that to the henna because NO cellophanes have taken since I started henna. I actually was a Sebastian Colourshines user until they stopped making it, (and before they started making the Laminates Cellophanes) then I switched to Colorshowers and was in love! They changed the formula and it turned to crap, which is why RBH stopped carrying it and switched to Original Color's. I was happy with the purchase because as far as the color, ingredients and consistency, it was comparable to Colorshowers and Sebastian.

Dang, all that to say at least give Original Color's a try, Jenn seems to love it in black!

I cant find the black colour on the RBH website. They only have black in the Color Showers brand, and I am afraid to get that since I hear the new formula is not any good.
Does anyone knowhere I can get the Stoken Cellophane in black?
