Has anyone ever used this color? What color did you use and did you get good or bad results? Please share your experience(s). I am thinking about using this color, I have always used Miss Clairol but I'm thinking of switching up. TIA

I've used this rinse once last summer. I'm not too found of using color since my hair is naturally light brown. But, at that time I was trying to be grown and wanted something different. I used the golden walnut and I really liked it, one thing is for sure that Colorshines really gave my hair a healthy sheen. I'm thinking about using the Clear with my next touch up.

Its wonderful. I got it done at the same time my relaxer was done. It was a copper color...sooooo pretty. Its a really good product with no peroxide, alcohol, ammonia.

Give it a shot. You'll love the shine!

Ok, so it's semi-permanent or is it a rinse?

I've used Colourshines for years (off and on) and I really love it. It makes my hair so soft and gives it a nice sheen. I've used the coloured ones and the clear, and they are both excellent! :)

I used Colorshines in ginger (reddish-gold) this past weekend. I have off black natural hair. I didn't see a color change at all. But there is shine. I was looking more for a color change, so if I do decide to buy this product again, I will look for something in the red family, maybe it will show then.

I used Colourshines in April after my last touch up and the color is now just starting to fade. I used ginger the color was brown with a hint of red on my hair. I wanted more color indoors but in the sun the color was awesome. You should definitely try it. :)

I have been interested in this product for a while. Where are you ladies getting yours from?

I've always wondered....What is the difference between a semi-permanent and a rinse?

I used the color "redissimo"..something like that. It's reddish w/ an orange base. I personally luv it but you have following directions to make the color last. For example, using it with heat to allow the color to sink in. Afterwards, I washed really good so that it did not bleed. When I did it at the salon they would just rinse and condition but I bleed a lot. Washing avoided the bleeding. My color became more noticable with each wash. :)
I love it, it's still in my closet. Well worth the money because it will last you a long time.

Ok yea I was going to say if I wanted the color to last longer that I would sit under the dryer for 30mins so the color would bond with my hair. So after you colored your hair, all you would do is rinse and style? Did you mean to say you did or you didn't condition? How often did you shampoo your hair after you applied the color?

B phlyy- I see u r from Chicago. I got mine on the southside at Jordan's Beauty Supply-79th st.

My hair salon is on 79th. I'll be on the lookout for it next time. Thanks.

I use Colorshines in Cinnamon. it love it...I been using it for the past year. I just colored my hair, but i was yapping my mouth so i didn't sit under the dryer, so it barely too this time around. But normally the warm red color is very noticeable on my darkbrown hair. I'm going to try the black/purple shade this fall.

Try doing a search for old posts on Colourshines. We have talked about this subject frequently on the board. I really like the colorshines. I used the cinnamon color and the brown color in the past. It does add lots of shine to your hair. I am considering using the clear to protect my current color tresses and to add shine.

I use Sebastian Colourshines in Neutral Brown. I love it. It makes my hair nice and shiny.

Yes, I also use Neutral Brown (shown in my siggy) and occasionally alternate it with Coffee Bean. Colourshines is a really great rinse! I've been using them since 2004.
