In my fotki, I have a picture of my scalp...It's a view from the top and the hair is really thin. Can u guys look at my picture and let me know what causes this to happen and if there is anyway to get the hair thicker? Thanks.

Your hair is very pretty. As far as the thin-ness on top, perhaps it is the way that you are brushing your hair? Is it the first place where you apply your relaxers?

It looks like you may have a form of alopecia . . . which type I cannot say (stress (from hairstyling), or one caused by hormones, etc.) I would go to a dermatologist to see what's going on there. It could be anything from a fungal infection to stress. Years ago, I heard of and used a product named Folicure. The person who recommended it to me said that they experienced hair loss and this "helped" it. I used it as a leave-in while in braids and my hair was heck-a thick when I took them down (ok, so it's thick in general), but I would recommend you try this. Also, some of the ladies on board have said they have had success re-growing thin/bald spots with MTG. I have used this as well (albeit not consistently), but DID notice a growth spurt around my front which usually grows slowly. Your hair is very lovely though.
