AND BOY HAVE I BEEN HAVING WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS..

I've been good, though, even went to revival last night.

I have some questions, and thoughts that came up during the week. Answer today, cause it's a long time til next Friday.

1) Have anybody heard of of Eyelash Perming

I was looking for something and found that some salons do this.. WHY?

2) I found 3 Gray strands last night, people said it's Bad Luck to pluck them out but they are severely depressing me and cramping my sytle

3)What is "Inter Fiber Friction" ? I was checking out a conditioner and one of the benefits says;
Helps minimize breakage by decreasing interfiber friction.


3) I am at 10 weeks today, and it is time.... I'm going wednesday, And I been telling they stylist and the salon manager exactly what I want, I know they think I'm

but hey. I told her I wanted Affirm, Fiberguard, Regular (Lye), Mild. She said we have Sensitive Scalp, It's the same as the mild, I said, NO they are two different relaxers, so she went back in the back to check and comes back saying Oh, your right there are two different kinds . , I swear we know more than some of the salons out there, and WE DON'T HAVE LICENSES...That's scary.

Last time they gave me the wrong stuff, this time I told them to write it down. I hope alla this demanding won't get me "accidently overprocessed"

I said it in a nice but firm way.

I think it's some left over stuff from my Grandma, that while I don't really believe, I so scared to test it, na mean

That was one of the claims of the Humecto right? I remember reading it and thinking that they mean that it closes cuticles (b/c open cuticles cause tangling) which helps with Humecto's "detangling" properties.
I could very well be wrong, but to me that's just a fancy way to market a product!

Girl I have a few that I pluck out all the time....it's just a myth as far as I'm concerned. So if they bother you pluck them out...then you can smile...and say...what gray hair????

Oh, I thought it was something serious that happens to our hair.

It was'nt Humecto, but it was another Keracare Conditiner, same family

I think inter-fiber friction is a fancy way to say "provides good slip". They are trying to sound ultra-scientific when all that is describing how your hair interacts with itself.

I know what you mean! My grandmother said (among many other things...) that if you shampoo your hair after dark, you'll have a stroke.

I have no idea how she came to this conclusion. But I've always felt funny washing my hair at night... One morning last year, I woke up and I couldn't move my neck. My male friend had to take me to the emergency room because my neck just locked up! I was so embarassed. I just knew I'd had a stroke while I was sleeping!
