Good points Candy. You can't rush the process and I use a palm full of oil for each section of hair when it's d-day.
lol @ d-day. i must say d-day hasnt been so bad since oil rinsing though!

I think anyone with curly hair, regardless of race, shouldnt comb daily.
I TOTALLY argee with this - combing hair dry =combing with a seamed comb =
combing with a fine toothed comb =
Combing on damp, conditioner soaked, hair occasionally with a wide tooth, seamfree comb =
I thought I was doing good too, only combing once a week, but I was still combing on DRY hair. Since I've stopped doing that, I can feel the additional thickness in my hair - and I rarely get anything BUT shed hairs coming out, either.
As far as tangles go, I don't wear my hair out, so I can't help with that - but usin your fingers to untangle is fifty TRILLION times better than using a comb - a comb doesn't really untangle, it just rips through the tangles - and you better believe it's breaking some hair off in the process.....
