I've never heard of this until MsJones' post . . . can someone give more info on this? Sounds cool . . . .

I got this method from Macherieamour's hair blog www.healthytextures.com in the Tutorials section. Her site is super helpful for people who are challenged like me. :lachen:

I was just about to mention the Healthy Textures site. Yep, I learned about the Saran Wrap treatment from her as well (I think it's a Dominican technique). It's a wonderful technique and really leaves your hair bouncy, soft, silky and well conditioned for several days after washing. I do it after I wash, rollerset and dry my hair. Go to the 'tutorials' section on macherieamours site and you will see it there. HTH

HAHAHAHAHA dido: for me too: i do have one suggestion I learned the hard way w/ saran wrap treatments: ....

....'I' have to sit under the dryer when I have saran wrap around my hair. W/o the heat: my scalp tends to sweat under the plastic and my hair gets poofy: the dryer keeps my head dry.

This is true for me too. I also have to sit under the dryer. I tried sleeping with the saran wrap once lol. I just put it on and then put my silk bonnet on over it. I woke up with my hair wet in the forehead area and around my ears. I had to wait for it to dry (just tied my silk scarf around it) after taking it down that morning but after it was dry it was beautiful and it remained flat and beautiful the entire day.

I use the saran wrap after a roller set. However, I only sit under a heated dryer for 5-7 minutes. This amount of time works wonderfully for my hair. Good luck.
