Ok i have never done this, but i was looking at this ladies hair, wondering...hair anyone noticed it? it is SO healthy and beautiful, and how blunt and even the ends are. Great progress!!!!! :D

OMG! I'm so shocked to see this. Gosh, I don't even know what to say. I don't feel worthy of this, lol but thanks for the shout out! :D :p And thanks to LHCF and the wonderful ladies of the board who have provided such great knowledge. If it weren't for you all I would probably still be somewhere, dependent on professional hair stylists and wondering why my hair won't grow. :lol: I never would have thought I could have natural hair and still have so many styling options; curly, straight, kinky, coily, the sky's the limit! Oh, and most importantly, another shout out to my sister! If it weren't for her I wouldn't even know about LHCF or considered going natural. :)
 
what beautiful napptural hair!!!!!!! i admire the fact that you are embracing your hair without any chemicals... keep up the good work, girlie.... smile.....maybe one day i will build up the courage to go napptural.....

When you click the link for my fotki the natural hair folder is under the relaxed hair. The password is the same for both folders. HTH

It seems that your natural hair is growing longer than your relaxed hair was.
Do you think that is because you are taking better care of it now that you're on LHCF, OR do you think it's because your natural hair is just better for growth?

I'm natural but was thinking about texturizing, but after seeing your hair I think I might stay. (I'm so fickle!):)

I think natural hair works better for me as far as growth. When I was little, my hair was natural and always really long. It wasn't until I began relaxing that it got shorter and shorter and remained at about the same length. Taking better care of my hair also has a lot to do with it, as well as minimizing my use of direct heat. When I was relaxed I used heat on an almost daily basis. :ohwell:

ETA: Also when I was relaxed I was getting trims done professionally which was another major setback in my growth progress. I took heed to Supergirl's rule of staying away from scissor happy stylists.
