Girl forget about that curling iron. I get this same look with Caruso's and in fact I like the way mine come out better. Everyone calls me Charlie's Angel when I wear my hair like that. They're really bouncy, I sometimes set with a little bit of a flexible hold hairspray if I'm going out for the evening (if I do it for a daytime style then I just curl it tighter so when the curls fall they still look great). Depending on how you place the roller and the size you use, you can get some really great effects/looks. I got the idea on doing this particular style from LeobodyC5 who is one of my fav's on YT.

It's great because you get to have the same look without the damage...

Beautiful hair and curls, but it was the curling iron that gave me problems in the first place! *sigh*

Leo has BEAUTIFUL hair.. but that hair is too big for me.. I like a more polished smoother look like Rachel's.

I hate carusos with a passion.. they don't work for me.. Something about water/steam on dry hair... this is just like :nono: when it comes to my hair.. I bought some from Sally's when I first got on the board due to all the raves..Mistake.. luckily I was able to take them back.
I probably can create the look with one of my flat irons.. but a curling iron looks so much easier... :yep:

great video...but the theme music made me want to pluck my eyes out :nono:

OT: i think she is gorgeous without makeup...but we have already had that discussion.

I think all heat tools can be dangerous.. but it's about technique/regimen too... I know I've learned a lot about the importance of maintaining the condition of your hair with heat styling now that I didn't know then (prior to LHCF)..

I totally agree with you. In most of her videos, see if using some type of heat. However, you can just look at her hair and tell that it is extremely healthy. There is no split end anywhere on that head.

i wanna learn how to do two strand and flat twists - thanks for reminding me of her vids. i subscribe to her youtube channel.

That certainly is true. When I was using direct heat I used no heat protectant and it was used as a part of my every day routine. :nono: So incorporating the skills and techniques that I've learned now I'm sure I can safely use a curling iron now and again.

I wonder if there are any ATL ladies on the board that go to her. I guess I could check the salon reviews. I need to send my mom in ATL her direction STAT!

I think one member here actually got an appointment with her, but she cancelled at the last minute saying she had to go out of town. I think it took a while to get that appointment though so she must be busy.

Yea that was me....i had made a appointment with her and she cancelled the appointment on me and tried to get me to go to another stylist in her salon(im very skeptical about who i allow in my hair and im sure anyone else would be for someone u never seen do hair before.)

But anyway i still love her youtubes and i may in the future try again with setting a appointment with her again. I so want healthy natural hair and ITA with someone else her hair is very healthy looking..but then again when i look through her services information i dont see anything i would get but a trim...i wish she was more detailed in her services.
