I purchased this weekend when I happened to see in a local salon and decided to give it a try. I wet set my hair so i made 4 sections, and applied like a dime size to each section (my hair is thick) and set, then blew out my roots and i must say it was pretty good. This past Saturday was humid so i wanted to see if my hair would frizz up and it didn't. My hair didn't feel dry like it has after blow drying, it felt coated and soft. I am going to try again this weekend paying more attention to my ends, but over all i was pleased. I paid 22.00 bucks so not to bad.

Where did you buy it locally? I wonder if Ulta has it but John Frieda is $7...I can buy 3 bottles for the price of one Lok and Blok...so idk...some people say they still revert...so I don't know. Glad it worked for you though...

No such luck with Ulta they dont sell it. I had tried John Frieda and it was horrible on my hair it actually made it dry which was strange but that was a while ago and i never tried again. I think it has to be used when the hair is wet to be most effective or to seal it in but i followed the directions and had decent results. I read alot of reviews some it worked some it didn't so i decided to take a chance since i do have some serious PJ issues and was curious. But i had good results and I know the bottle will last since you dont need to use alot.

Glad to hear you liked it!

I know when it first came out, it was raved about but then they changed the formula and women weren't getting the same results. I hurried and bought like 6 bottles of the original formula although I NEVER straighten my hair. I figured it'd be good to have it for the future.

I remember when you posted about the $5.99 sale that Sabino was having for the original formula. I still have the bottle that I purchased from that sale.

Sabino works well, but I don't like the crunchy feeling that it leaves behind.
